Description

Kimochi, which means ‘feeling’ in Japanese, are plush, interactive and lovable toys. They are designed to help children learn about their feelings, how to manage them and how to help others understand them.

Kimochis® are small soft face pillows that have a facial expression on one side and the name of the emotion on the other. This Mixed Feelings Pack includes Surprised, Guilty, Embarrassed, Sleepy, Excited and one blank face with a washable marker so that your child can draw their own emotions.

These Kimochis® faces are designed to compliment the Kimochis® Characters. Here at The Play Hive, we sell the character 'Cloud' separately. When used with Cloud, Kimochis® help your child get in touch with their emotions in a fun way using puppetry, play, role play, etc.

Extend Play and Learning

• Use these Kimochis® with Cloud or on their own for imaginative play.

• Put on a Kimochis® puppet show with emotions as part of the storyline. The show might include reasons why the characters are feeling the emotion depicted on their face. The storyline might also include ways the characters cope with and regulate their emotions.

• Put the feelings in a basket on your kitchen table to invite spontaneous play at mealtime.

• Play Kimochis® Charades! Pick a feeling and act it out.
