These women are very skillful knitters and each one is specialised in several hand knitted puppets. Together they produce a vast array of animals and other characters that have surpassed the frontiers of Peru to reach children all over the world. When you purchase these fair trade puppets you are assisting these women who live in extreme poverty to support their own families and in turn their community.
