This amazingly detailed and unique set consists of 5 puppets that are perfect to learn about African animals. In this set you receive a monkey, lion, parrot, lioness and elephant. Kids just love finger puppets. They are the perfect toy to inspire imagination, story telling, language and social skills.

The African Animals puppets are very easy to care for. Just wash them with mild detergent, squeeze and dry flat. They have been already been washed.

About the Fair Trade Knitters of Peru:

These cute and colourful finger puppets are hand knitted by communities of Quechua women in Puno, Peru. These women are very skillful knitters and each one is specialised in several hand knitted puppets. Together they produce a vast array of animals and other characters that have surpassed the frontiers of Peru to reach children all over the world. When you purchase these fair trade puppets you are assisting these women who live in extreme poverty to support their own families and in turn their community.

Occasionally there are slight differences in the detailing of the puppets, for example the shape of the mouth or the colour of a puppets shirt or detailing on fur. This occurs as the knitters use the coloured wool available to them at the time of knitting.
